Once you're ready to take your written test for a license, you'll want to know when and where the test sessions are held. New: DCARC is now pleased to offer practice test .This "Exam Sessions" page tells you all about DCARC's Radio Exam Sessions.... commonly called VE Sessions. VE stands for "Volunteer Examiner". DCARC's VEs are fully certified to conduct official tests recognized by the FCC and our VEs will submit your test scores via computer to ensure you'll get your callsign as soon as possible! DCARC conducts official ARRL VE test sessions three times a year on the first Wednesday of March, July, and November. Testing is always scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm. These tests are usually conducted at the Clearfield City Offices on the 2nd floor. You can find directions by using Google Maps . The address is 55 South State, Clearfiled, UT. If you are ready to take a test sooner than one of our scheduled exam sessions, you can probably find another session conducted elsewhere in your area. The Utah Amateur Radio Club maintains a very thorough list of Exam Sessions in other areas. Once you've passed your exam, start watching this page for your new/updated callsign. |
