In an FCC filing dated October 15, 2020 the FCC proposed a rule change to CHARGE a $50 on amateur radio license and applications. Hi All,We need radio operators on Wednesday and Thursday to help the city of Centerville with their refuse sites. 2-4 hour shifts. The times are Wednesday from 10-8 and Thursday from 8-8. If you can help on either or both days, please let me know which day and times. We will report to the City
Due to the windstorm last night and ARES being activated we will cancel tonight’s DCARC On-the-Air. Our Antenna topic will be postponed to our next session on September 22nd. Please remember to monitor the ARES frequencies as we work through this windstorm.
DCARC conducts official W5YI VE test sessions four times a year in March, June, September and December. Testing is always scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm.
