Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Cycle for Life Utah on August 21st.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Cycle for Life Utah on August 21st.  This is UtahSAG’s premier support event of each year and we have been supporting this ride since it’s inception here in Utah 10 years ago.  We may have may have 600+ riders this year.

We do have a few challenges this year, primarily the I-84 overpass bridge between Henefer and Echo Road is gone.  UDOT is rebuilding the exit/entrance ramps for the Henefer/East Canyon State Park exit and they don’t anticipate the construction to be done until late September.  This means a relocation of the start/finish line (Net Control) and possibly shuffling one other rest stop.

We are just starting the recruitment for this event so we need everything… the list is as follows: 9 SAG drivers, 2 Shuttle drivers, 5 Motorcycle mobile HAM leads, 15 Bicycle mobile HAM ride marshals, 12 Rest stop comms operators, 2 Staff shadows

Let’s show our support for this very worthy charity event by getting all of the HAM/SAG support positions filled as quickly as possible.

If you are available for this event on August 21st please follow this link to fill out the volunteer signup form.  https://forms.gle/5tevDBCwuBCRugck9

This is one of the absolutely best ways to get real world, hands on, unscripted experience using your radios to get practice for when the “big one” hits.
