Happy Thanksgiving from the Davis County Amateur Radio Club!

Dear Club Members,

As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to each of you for being part of the Davis County Amateur Radio Club. Your passion for the hobby, dedication to service, and commitment to fostering a sense of community make our club a remarkable group to be a part of.

This holiday season, I encourage you to reflect on the joy and opportunities amateur radio brings into our lives. From the camaraderie we share at club meetings to the public service we provide during events and emergencies, our hobby keeps us connected in meaningful ways.

Looking ahead, I invite all of you to “become more radio active” as we approach the end of the year and prepare for a vibrant 2025. Whether it’s participating in a club net, joining us for an upcoming event, or simply dusting off your rig to make a new contact, there’s no better time to reignite your passion for the airwaves.

On behalf of the club’s leadership team, I wish you and your loved ones a happy, safe, and warm Thanksgiving. Let’s continue to support each other as we keep the spirit of amateur radio alive in Davis County and beyond!

73,
Larry Claussen, KV7LC
President, Davis County Amateur Radio Club
