We are excited to be able to support the 2020 ARRL Field Day in a couple of different ways to accommodate as many Club Members and those that are just looking into Amateur Radio. If interest supports it, we will be setting up a few radios at a local church that club members and guests

The Davis County Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announce that they will be sponsoring a Technician Licensing Course.It will be held at Layton City Office 437 Wasatch Dr., Layton 84041.There is no cost to take the course. Pre-registration is required due to social distancing limitations.We will be using The Technician License Course (2018-2022 Pool)
DCARC is looking for individuals who would like to record a 15-30 minute presentation that we can put on our Club Website, Facebook Page and YouTube Channel for Field Day. The DCARC Officers are working on plans for our participation in the 2020 ARRL Field Day. To help us plan this event and provide activities that best meet the needs of our members, we have created a short survey for you to complete. The results of this survey will help the officers in finalizing plans.
DCARC conducts official W5YI VE test sessions four times a year in March, June, September and December. Testing is always scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm. These tests are normally conducted at the Clearfield City Offices on the 2nd floor. The address is 55 South State, Clearfield, UT. Pre-registration for these sessions is required at
Field day prep will be another Zoom meeting. That is still tentative. Check here for more details. We are optimistic that with appropriate social distancing we will still be able to have some radio fun. Tentatively still at Monte Christo. This month’s club meeting will focus on Skywarn and Spotter Training. This training will be conducted by Kevin Barjenbruch who is with the National Weather Service.
