The following changes to the Club Consitution and By-Laws were proposed on May 11, 2024 during our regular meeting. These changes will be voted on during our June 8, 2024 meeting. Postcards to the club membership have been mailed.

Proposed Amendment to the Club By-Laws

EXPENDITURES- CURRENT

1. Expenditures of less than $200.00 for administrative expenses and upkeep/maintenance of club property shall be authorized by the club officers for amounts.
2. Expenditures of more than $200.00 for any purpose must be approved by a majority of the membership present at a regular meeting.

EXPENDITURES- PROPOSED

1. Expenditures of less than $500.00 for administrative expenses and upkeep/maintenance of club property shall be authorized by the club officers for amounts.
2. Expenditures of more than $500.00 for any purpose must be approved by a majority of the membership present at a regular meeting.

Amendment to the Club Constitution

ARTICLE VII – AMENDMENTS- Current

1. Proposals for amendments shall be submitted in writing at a regular meeting and shall be voted on at the next regular meeting, provided all members have been notified by mail of intent to amend the constitution and or by-laws at said meeting.
2. The constitution and by-laws may then be amended by a two-thirds vote of the membership present.

ARTICLE VII – AMENDMENTS- Proposed

1. Proposals for amendments shall be submitted in writing at a regular meeting and shall be voted on at the next regular meeting, provided all members have been notified via email of intent to amend the constitution and/or by-laws at said meeting and the posting of the proposed changes on the chapter website. Other chapter communication channels may also be used to supplement the notification such as radio net sponsored by the club or social media.
2. The constitution and by-laws may then be amended by a two-thirds vote of the membership present.
